| Our Association, with the cooperation of other H O A's in the surrounding communities, were able to defuse the developer's attempts to build a retail shopping center in the Hall Road Project. In its place we were able to place a new South Bowie Library together with 3 retail buildings and 104 residential structures. We are still working with County Councilman Douglas J.J. Peters to have the developer build the library in conjunction with the building of the first phase of the development. As previously stated in the Library discussion, the library is fully funded but waiting for the County Executive's signature to release the funds. |
