Dear CASB Member:

The members of the Board of Directors and myself hope you had a great summer. It has been some time since we last saw most of you at a meeting that we would have a hard time recognizing you in public. So why not come to our next General Membership Meeting which will be held  September 28, 2008 in the Pointer Ridge Elementary School at 7:30 P.M.

As always I urge all our members to attend this meeting. The September meeting will feature as our guest speaker Chief of Police Katherine Perez. She will give us an update on how the police force is progressing on manpower and how it is performing in keeping our community safe. You will have an opportunity to bring any of your concerns to her attention at the meeting. I hope to have some news on the library by the time of our meeting.

We are always updating our WEBSITE. For those members who have a computer, you can access the website with the following internet logon: www.caofsb.org. Be sure to visit the website to keep up with the happenings in our community. As always we are looking for improvements to the site. So lets hear from you.

We only have this meeting and our November meeting left this calendar year.. For those of you who have not  paid your yearly dues for the 2008 Association year our Treasurer will be accepting payment of dues before and after the meeting. Bring cash/check or money order for $25.00 payable to the Citizens Association of South Bowie (CASB). If you wish you can remit a check or money order made out to: "CASB" in the amount of $25.00 and send it to:

An association is only as strong as its members.Please think about asking a friend or neighbor to come to the meeting and become a member in YOUR ASSOCIATION. We are always looking for new members. I am counting on seeing you on the 24th.
